Recently, we learned from the Beijing Municipal Taxation Bureau that at present, the total number of tax-refund stores in Beijing has reached 832, ranking first in the country, and the coverage rate of key business districts has reached 100%. The existing 12 pilot stores are all comprehensive shopping malls, including Wangfujing Department Store, Beijing Hualian Fashion Department Store Co., Ltd., and Beijing Badaling Fine Outlet Commercial Co., Ltd., etc. In the future, Beijing will give full play to the brand-leading role of advantageous brand stores, national trend specialty stores, and flagship chain stores, and gradually form a three-dimensional departure tax refund store layout combining “dots and coils” to promote the optimization of the capital’s consumption space.
