The Fall of Man, the Fall of Adam, or simply, the Fall, is a Christian term used to describe the transition of the first man and woman from a state of sinless obedience to God to a state of sinful disobedience. All are recorded in chapters 1 to 3 of Genesis. At first Adam and Eve lived with God in the Garden of Eden, but the serpent tempted them to eat the fruit of the tree of good and evil (which God did not allow). After eating the fruit, they saw their nakedness and were ashamed, so God banished them from the Garden of Eden and forbade them to eat the fruit of the tree of life. This work is the description of the scene!

In the background on the left, we see God (a cloud with a face and hands) warning Adam and Eve. They can eat the fruit of all trees except “the tree of good and evil”. Adam and Eve were tempted by serpents (with human torso), ate the forbidden fruit, and were thrown out of heaven. Note that there are also amazing depictions of animals: a sad dog, a curious fox, and a scared monkey hugging an equally scared cat.
