Titanium Media App reported on August 17 that the State Food and Drug Administration publicly solicited opinions on the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Cosmetics Online Operation (Draft for Comment)". Among them, Article 8 (institutional setup) of the draft for comments stipulates that operators of cosmetics e-commerce platforms shall set up cosmetics quality and safety management institutions, or assign full-time and part-time quality and safety management personnel to be responsible for establishing and organizing the implementation of cosmetics quality and safety management systems, and organizing the management of cosmetics quality and safety. Daily inspections are carried out on the business behavior of cosmetic operators on the platform. Article 9 (real-name registration) stipulates that operators of cosmetics e-commerce platforms shall require cosmetics operators applying to enter the platform to submit real information such as identity, address, and contact information, conduct verification, registration, and establish registration files, and at least every 6 months. Verify the update once. Cosmetics e-commerce platform operators shall keep the identity information of cosmetic operators on the platform for no less than 3 years from the date of their withdrawal from the platform.
