Combining the natural language conversational capabilities of a virtual chatbot with a physical bot, Google demonstrated a robot waiter that can bring soda and chips to its employees in a break room . The robot is not ready for commercial use, it can only do a few simple actions, and it does not even integrate the OK, Google summon function. Robots can interpret natural language commands, weigh possible actions, and plan to fulfill requirements in fewer steps. The bot used text from Wikipedia, social media and other sources to train its language understanding. It was designed by subsidiary Everyday Robots and currently functions to bring snacks to employees.
