In this ordinary month of August, I watched many, many “old” movies, including classics and occasional ones, and all kinds of bits and pieces, so here I will summarize my feelings after watching them, maybe one or two. A sentence does not exclude a long description, but it will not be too long.
A director who is paying attention to UP once said a point of view: Whether you are in the industry or a video enthusiast, it is rare to see a movie for the first time. That kind of heartfelt feeling about the movie will only appear for the first time. Therefore, my content will try to avoid spoilers, and I hope you can always feel the innocent joy of watching a movie for the first time in the movie.
“The French Dispatch” is another Wes Anderson film with strong personal characteristics. The ultimate pursuit of symmetry, the accuracy of scheduling, and the beauty of tone are all unique. If you can find some relevant historical information, or you are a person who knows a lot about history, you may be able to feel more from the movie. If you don’t, like me, it doesn’t matter at all, it is still very interesting. Interesting, good movie with a long aftertaste
If you like to watch movies with love-related themes, then “Bang Bang” and “The Notebook” must not be missed. The heartbeat focuses on youth and youth, like the memory of first love. It has a very special meaning to me, but for me, it was too late to watch it, seven years too late. Maybe if I had watched it earlier, my feelings would be different, and the world would be different. The Notebook is more like a lifelong attachment to true love, with love and separation. Everyone can find something of themselves in these two stories.
The movie “Son of the Fish” is more like another synonym for fairy tale. The simplicity and persistence of the protagonist are more like that of himself when he was young. Later, with the harsh torture of society, those directions that seemed childish but actually really liked when he was young were gradually put aside. I hope that after watching this film, you will remember your own ideals and continue to pursue them.
As a film and television related worker, I also watched two relatively “textbook” movies. “Corridors of Justice” has received good reviews in many places, mainly because it tells the story of people in the court. Many movie reviews thought it was very good, but I wasn’t particularly moved. Too much drama seems a bit tired. I seem to see many shadows of classic movies in this film, but classic movies either focus on the profound shaping of characters in small scenes, or the ups and downs of confrontation in the court. But this film has all kinds of angles, but I feel like I want everything and haven’t done anything yet. “The 400 Blows” is said to be a classic that has left its name in film history. Many of the compositions and scenes may have been used for the first time in this film. But it is precisely because of this that many of the classic scenes have been seen countless times in subsequent works, and it is no surprise when looking back again. A textbook-style movie may need to be experienced based on actual historical conditions.
The content of this article was probably written at the end of August, but it stumbled along the way and has not been published until now. I apologize (((
