OBS is a free and open source software package for recording and live webcasting. Written in C and C++, OBS provides real-time source and device capture, scene composition, encoding, recording, and broadcast. Data transmission is mainly done through the real-time messaging protocol RTMP and can be sent to any software that supports RTMP, including streaming sites such as YouTube, Twitch, Instagram and Facebook.
For us users, we only need to pay attention to three keywords: open source , recording and live broadcast .
