BGP.NET’s network has always been known for overselling, and their family often sells these broadband products second-hand, so they are also known as second-hand dealers. Generally, I recommend avoiding such businesses.

But there are still people who are very interested in the network quality of their home. Today, I found a VPS that rents a BGP.NET line to test it, which is a curiosity. Although the test is a test, I still do not recommend buying it, because it is particularly unstable at night. The speed graphs given by many businesses are multi-threaded, which does not mean that a single thread can run.

This CPU is relatively common in the LowEnd market. It is a 14-year-old foreign garbage, and its performance is relatively high. The LemonBench single-core running score is 600~700.

However, it should be noted that although I chose the top 40Mbps broadband, but in fact, I understand what the quality of BGP.NET is like, and I can’t run it with a single thread. Generally, it can run 30Mbps.

Summarize

Although it is a real CN2 GIA, the actual experience is far from the quality that CN2 should have. This is the most appropriate evaluation of BGP.NET. In addition, most of the IDCs that sell BGP.NET VPS are mainly small businesses. Neither stability nor speed should be the first choice.

Nowadays, there are already better options at the same price. RCP of 9929, CMI’s FxTransit, Misaka, DMIT, SaltyFish, microcomputer host, they can get first-hand lines, in any case, they are more expensive than BGP.NET distributors. Too reliable.
