A Prospect of the General Trend of the Game between China and the United States

The Sino-US game ran through the second half of the last century and the first two decades of this century, and had a profound impact on the development of world history. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the game between China and the United States has affected the whole world and affected the general development trend of the world. Historical development never depends on human will, but historical development has laws to follow. In the past seven decades or so, the Sino-American game has ended in the failure of the United States. The reason is actually very simple. The American elites lack a real understanding of the Chinese Communist Party, China’s economic system and social organization, and they cannot know themselves and their enemies. Of course, it’s not that people in the US and the West don’t understand China, but the views of these people who understand China are not accepted by the mainstream and have never been noticed.

The first game between China and the United States was the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. Truman threw a single throw to support the unpopular Chiang Kai-shek, and finally lost cleanly. The billions of dollars of weapons given to Chiang Kai-shek brought the equipment of the CCP army to a new level. The second game is the Korean War. The United States is not reconciled to its defeat in China, and wants to take advantage of the Korean civil war to intervene in Northeast Asia and threaten the new People’s Republic of China. MacArthur ignored China’s warnings and rushed to the Chinese border aggressively. As a result, the most powerful United Nations army in history was driven back to the 38th parallel by the Chinese People’s Volunteers, whose weapons were several generations behind. The Korean War has brought the Chinese army equipment to a higher level, and has its own navy and air force, and the United States has once again made a stepping stone for China’s rise.

Later, the United States intervened in the Vietnam Civil War in an attempt to threaten China from the south. The Chinese government launched a campaign to resist US aggression and aid Vietnam, which plunged the US into the quagmire of the Vietnam War. As a result, Nixon became the first U.S. president to condescend to visit a third world country without diplomatic relations. Economic sanctions have restricted China’s development, but have also allowed China to establish an independent and complete national economic system that most other countries do not have.

This independent and complete economic system unique to China has been greatly weakened due to privatization and the influx of foreign capital during the past 40 years of reform and opening up. From before the reform, it controlled more than 80% of the national economy. To a little over 20 percent today, the two are not the same thing. However, more than 20% of the state-owned economy is the main body of China’s economy. The state-owned banking system, railways, civil aviation, petroleum, electricity, and other important livelihood undertakings, as well as the national defense industry, are still controlled by the state and are still a powerful presence. Being able to dominate the development direction of China’s economy, foreign capital cannot fully control China’s economic lifeline. This is also what the United States hates, but there is no way to change it. The recent trade war in the United States has made China more sober, and in the future, it will become more and more determined to defend and strengthen the leading role of the state-owned economy in economic development.

Since the war years, the CCP has been building strong grassroots organizations. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, a unified system from the central to the local level was established. Every village, every factory, every school, and every social unit has a grass-roots organization of the Communist Party, all of which obey the decrees of the central government. This is an efficient management system that has never been seen in human history. At the peak of Mao Zedong’s speech in Beijing, even in the middle of the night, people all over the country, including remote villages, would spontaneously get up to listen. In the 40 years of reform and opening up, this powerful social organization has also been greatly weakened, but it is still unmatched by the United States and any other country in the world. This pandemic is a good illustration. China was able to completely seal Wuhan, a city with a population of more than 10 million, and dispatched more than 40,000 medical personnel and military doctors across the country to Wuhan to fight the epidemic. In just three months, the epidemic was basically under control. In dealing with the epidemic, China has completely outperformed the United States by virtue of its strong social mobilization ability.

On the Hong Kong issue, the U.S. government has done everything possible, the CIA has been planning and agitation for a long time, Congress has passed a number of decrees and sanctions, and mobilized its allies around the world to try to mess up Hong Kong. However, a national security law in China has disintegrated the turbulent forces that have been operating in the United States for many years. On the South China Sea issue, the United States has joined forces with its allies to engage in so-called freedom of navigation, which seems to have put a lot of pressure on China. In fact, it is very stupid. They went all the way to the door of China to demonstrate, wasting their own resources, but they had to to real benefits. China, on the other hand, has excuses and motivations to strengthen its navy. Because of the provocation of the United States in the South China Sea, all the Chinese people support the development of the navy, and a new type of warship like dumplings has been launched. The leap-forward development of the Chinese navy has increased the leverage between China and the United States in the Taiwan Strait game. Compared with the past few decades, the advantage in the Taiwan Strait is entirely on China’s side. Even Americans have to admit this.

China can do all of the above because China has a Communist Party that no other country has. This party has also been greatly weakened by problems such as reform and opening up and official corruption, but it is still the most powerful party in the world, and no one can match it. This is why the United States and many Chinese dissidents in the United States hate the CCP. Invincible, too powerful. What the U.S. government and dissidents don’t know is that their opposition to the CCP is helping the Chinese government. The Chinese believe in the logic that being opposed by the enemy is a good thing and not a bad thing. The harder the enemy opposes, the more it shows that the CCP is the backbone of China’s might.
