As a pillar industry, in order to alleviate the supply chain logistics problems caused by the epidemic, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology launched the “Automotive Industry Chain Supply Chain Smooth Coordination Platform” on April 11 to help supply chain companies timely feedback and solve difficult problems, and all localities resume work in an orderly manner.
Shanghai, Guangdong and Jilin are the core areas of my country’s auto industry. In 2020, the automobile production in the three regions will be 8.44 million, accounting for 33% of my country’s total automobile production; in 2020, the passenger car sales in the three regions will be 2.93 million, accounting for 15% of my country’s total automobile sales. At the level of listed companies, there are about 23 independent parts companies in the affected areas, including 17 in Shanghai, 4 in Changchun and 2 in Guangzhou. There are 21 foreign-funded parts companies in the affected area, including bosch, yazaki, denso, JTEKT, ZF, magna, Faurecia, etc., supporting customers to design Volkswagen, GM, Ford, SAIC, FAW, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, etc. .
Analysis of production capacity and industrial chain in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Jilin : According to data from Aipso, SAIC Group will have a production capacity of 10.13 million vehicles in 2021, of which Shanghai will have a production capacity of 1.96 million vehicles, accounting for about 19% of the total production capacity; GAC Group’s production capacity in 2021 will be 10.13 million vehicles. 2.62 million vehicles, of which the production capacity in Guangzhou is 1.91 million vehicles, accounting for about 73% of the total production capacity; FAW Group will have a production capacity of 4.42 million vehicles in 2021, of which the production capacity in Jilin + Guangzhou area will be 1.7 million vehicles, accounting for about 38% of the total production capacity Tesla The domestic factory has a production capacity of 450,000, all of which are in Shanghai. NIO’s planned production capacity is 240,000, but there is no production capacity in areas affected by the epidemic. Xiaopeng Motors will have a production capacity of 300,000 vehicles in 2021, of which 100,000 vehicles will be produced in the Guangzhou area.
