Apple delays self-driving electric car launch

Apple has delayed the launch of its self-driving electric car until 2026. The current self-driving cars are still a long way from the L5 fully automatic driving capability, and most of them stay at the L3 level. Apple’s Project Titan aims to achieve Level 5 autonomous driving, but it’s currently impractical. Project Titan is thus in somewhat of a state of limbo, redesigning the car to include a steering wheel and pedals to help the driver steer the car, while self-driving capabilities are only available on highways.
