I have always felt that blogs can contain all the functions of microblogs (such as twitter club ), but not vice versa. Blogs can be long, and most people do tend to write long, but no one prevents you from writing only 140 words on your blog.
I have always known that this is a well-intentioned question: the same fifty words are posted on the blog, and the urgency of microblogs is indeed lacking. It’s probably annoying for readers to see only one sentence per article in RSS.
But fuck it.
