Hunan Province Changsha Housing Provident Fund Management Center issued the “Notice on Optimizing Housing Provident Fund Business Policies and Processes” (Changjin Management Committee [2022] No. 3). In terms of increasing the maximum loan amount for housing provident funds, the maximum loan amount for housing provident fund loans in Changsha was raised from 600,000 yuan to 700,000 yuan, and the maximum loan amount for housing provident fund loans for families with three children was raised to 800,000 yuan. In meeting reasonable demand for improved housing, the down payment ratio for a second home will be reduced. In order to support the improvement of the living environment of the workers, the minimum down payment ratio is adjusted from 60% to 40% for workers’ families who purchase a second home and apply for a housing provident fund loan.
