Cuban is not optimistic about virtual real estate in the metaverse

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is an avid proponent of cryptocurrencies, but he ‘s also not bullish on the virtual real estate business in the metaverse . He thinks buying real estate in a virtual world is the dumbest thing. His reasoning is that unlike the real world, real estate in the metaverse is not scarce, and its quantity can increase indefinitely. Cuban has invested in NFTs and is an investor in Yuga Labs. The company owns NFT collectibles such as Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks. It recently raised $317 million to enter the Metaverse real estate. Cuban is not optimistic about this business and thinks it is not practical.
