Today is the fourth day of the National Day Golden Week, which is also the traditional Chinese Double Ninth Festival. As the so-called “Chongyang every year, Chongyang again today”. On the Double Ninth Festival, the ancients would like to drink high alcohol, appreciate chrysanthemums and compose poems, and feel homesick and cherish relatives. This year’s Double Ninth Festival is also very special to me, because whenever I think of my grandmother’s passing last year, I feel very sad. My earnest teaching, my heart suddenly filled with endless thoughts of the two old people.
A couple of days ago, I found a set of videos on my cousin’s Kuaishou account that was made up of remade photos of my grandma and grandpa, so I took a few single and group photos of my grandma and grandpa when they were “young”, and put them here as a souvenir.

Note for picture 1: My grandmother is from Yangzhou. She is an authentic southern girl. She is ingenious and cooks good food. When I was a child, even though the material conditions were not good, my grandmother could make delicious dishes with ordinary ingredients. I am very fond of it. Good luck ^_^. The grandmother’s hands in the picture don’t seem to be commensurate with her age, that’s because she has been doing heavy physical work, and these hands record the grandmother’s dedication to the family.

Note for Figure 2: This photo reminds me of the home of my grandparents and grandparents when I was a child. It was a house with two small houses in the front and the rear. The house is not big, and there is a small courtyard in the middle. Filled with my memories, I punched here almost every day until the sixth grade of elementary school. Grandma and grandpa have lived together in such a small home for decades. From this photo, from the faces of grandma and grandpa, we can see their happiness from the bottom of their hearts.

Back then, the second uncle and the second uncle brought their granddaughter to Liaoning from Yangzhou thousands of miles to visit his sister. Our whole family was very happy at that time. In my memory, the second uncle lived there for at least half a month. At that time, the main impression of the second uncle was that he could not understand his Yangzhou dialect.
