Earlier this year, DuckDuckGo was found not to block all Microsoft trackers because of a search partnership agreement with Microsoft. At the time, DuckDuckGo CEO Gabriel Weinberg explained that the DuckDuckGo browser blocked all Microsoft cookies. But if you visit a website that contains Microsoft’s tracking program, the user’s data will be exposed to Bing and LinkedIn, as a result of DuckDuckGo’s search syndication agreement with Microsoft. He promised to improve the deal with Microsoft. Now DuckDuckGo announces that its browser blocks all Microsoft third-party cookies.
