In general, I still envy those who have a soft heart.
As a pure engineering student, my thinking is guided by reason. Once you have emotions, you will also subconsciously hand them over to reason and logic to disassemble your emotions, explore the reasons behind them, and deal with them in a rational way.
This way of thinking allows me to avoid being manipulated by emotions in many cases, but on the other hand, it also makes me cold and lacking in “humanity”.
So many times, I am very envious of those who have a soft heart.
