But they are also far away from the final victory, and their business operations have not met expectations in the past two years. Meituan Optimal has made a series of adjustments before. The profitability of buying a lot of vegetables is also related to its earlier emphasis on commercialization. Fresh food can be sold more abundantly and cheaper, but the low price and low gross profit prevent this category from contributing enough profit. Meituan and Pinduoduo, two small giants known for their combat effectiveness and execution ability, started in the first half of 2020. Duoduomaicai is also learning from Meituan.
