Fedora Linux 37 Postponed to Fix Critical Vulnerabilities

The Fedora distribution announced (https://ift.tt/9Zmvysa) that the release date of Fedora Linux 37 has been postponed from the original planned end of October to November 15, due to a fix for a high-severity OpenSSL vulnerability. A patch to fix the vulnerability is scheduled to be released on November 1, so details about the vulnerability have not been made public, and a common practice in the security community is to keep information private until a patch is ready to prevent its exploitation. If Fedora builds the patch ahead of time, the vulnerability details may be leaked.
