Geely applies for a smart cockpit patent: Fireworks show on the car windshield

IT Home understands that the patent abstract shows that the method includes: acquiring a first image of the scene in front of the vehicle when the vehicle is parked, identifying and analyzing the first image to obtain at least one feature of the real scene, and setting off fireworks according to the feature of the real scene. Assigning at least one parameter of the model; generating a dynamic image and audio of the fireworks display through the fireworks display model, and fusing the dynamic image with the first image to generate a second image; projecting the second image on the front windshield of the vehicle, and passing The vehicle’s audio playback device plays the audio.

This solution can realize a firework show based on real scenes in the smart cockpit, which improves the fun of the smart cockpit.

Judging from the patent, Geely’s idea is to combine the video of the fireworks show with the live video in front of the car, and project it on the windshield to achieve the effect of the fireworks show. Considering the current HUD projection range and intelligence, this effect cannot be achieved. The realization of this patent will necessarily require a dedicated projector.
