GitLab completes tens of millions of A3 rounds of financing

On September 14, 2022, Lenovo Venture Capital’s invested company, GitLab (GitLab) (referred to as GitLab), announced the completion of its A3 round of financing. This round of financing is from Paradise Silicon Valley, with a financing amount of tens of millions of yuan.

Previously, Jihu has been awarded the Sequoia Broadband Cross-border Digital Industry Fund, Lenovo Venture Capital, Gaocheng Capital, Taikang Life Insurance, Temasek, Cheers Fund, Alpha Prime Limited, Jiyuan Capital, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Fund, and Nokia Growth Fund. Angel rounds and A1 and A2 rounds of investment from ten investment institutions. Only one and a half years after its establishment, Jihu has obtained four rounds of financing, with a total amount of hundreds of millions of RMB, and the proportion of foreign capital has been further reduced.

Since its establishment in March 2021, the company has quickly ranked among the forefront of the industry by relying on mature product development technology and DevOps strategy services that are more suitable for local enterprise use scenarios.

It is reported that this financing will further strengthen the investment in “independent and controllable 3.0” and independent innovation: on the one hand, it will provide DevOps products that are more suitable for the needs of Chinese localized enterprises, originating from GitLab, but not limited to GitLab; on the other hand, it will continue to promote DevOps Independent innovation, making more innovative projects while incubating projects, and leading global innovation by prospering China’s open source ecosystem.
