This time I went to London’s Hidilao hot pot. It has been open for a few years, and this time I waited until the epidemic in the UK was released before thinking about trying it. I heard that there were so many people in the past that I had to queue for several hours. This time I went there at about 12 noon. I gave a number and said it would take about 45 minutes, but I felt that I was lined up in less than half an hour.
London’s Haidilao is near the subway entrance (Piccadilly Circus), and it takes two minutes to arrive, but the facade is not very big, as soon as you enter the door is the waiting area, and the dining is on the second floor downstairs. The decoration downstairs is very high-grade.
This time I went with two children, two adults and two children. The total cost was more than 130 pounds. The service charge was 12.5%. In the hot pot seasoning area, there are apple salad, bread, rice noodles, etc. In theory, you can fully eat by yourself.
We asked for four pot bases, which are not too spicy, and we couldn’t stand a mild/small spicy one. Haidilao’s service is very meticulous. For example, there are tableware and free drinking water on the edge of each table, and an apron is provided during meals so that the clothes will not get dirty.
The ingredients are very fresh, we ordered some hot pot ingredients that are usually not easy to prepare, such as yuyu and pork belly and large intestine. When the meal was over, the lady at the door also stuffed the baby with 6 packets of small snacks (four packets were given when I waited at the door), and the baby finished eating separately on the way back to Cambridge by train.
In general, the experience of eating hot pot in the city this time is quite good. After eating, I checked in several Internet celebrity snack bars around (just walking).
London is really a good place for entertainment and life. The only downside is that there are too many people and the cost of living is expensive. I can’t afford it, so I can only go back to my big Cambridge to lie down.

The daughter-in-law said that she was not too full because she had to save her stomach to eat these Internet celebrity snack bars.

London is a paradise on earth. Reminds me of the famous saying “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life, for there is in London all that life can afford.” When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life , because London has everything life can afford.
