Twelve years ago, I created the cartoon “Happy Baby”. Since the second big movie “Happy Superman 2: The Battle of Kaiyuan Star” in 2014, my team and I have started planning this third big movie, hoping to make some different and shocking works. Over 2,900 days and nights, we went from planning countless overthrows and reorganizations, countless times of polishing the script, to dozens of versions of the storyboard, and more than 70 versions of the edited version, and finally generated a 96-minute finished film. The result of the tireless efforts of the whole team.
In the course of these eight years, the “Happy Superman” IP has also experienced a lot. It changed its name from “Happy Baby” to “Happy Superman Alliance”, and we are constantly asking ourselves “As the audience grows, what do we need to do? upgrade?” Since the tenth season of “Happy Superman: The Return of Heroes” in 2016, the animation style has been fully upgraded, which was a very bold move for an IP that had been evergreen for 6 years at the time. Most of the audience was a little uncomfortable at first, but judging from the final ratings of this season, it was widely recognized. In this part, we also started to try some series of episodes. As the audience grows, everyone looks forward to seeing more in-depth content. We have put down the unit comedy that we are best at a little bit, and we will continue to deepen in the next few seasons. The writing of the continuous plot, to the 13th season “Happy Superman Alliance: Energy Nuclear Guardian” is a complete continuous story for the whole season. Up until the latest episode of “Happy League of Legends: Alien Trek,” we were still balancing the light-hearted joy of single-unit comedy with the depth of serial content, and thank you for giving us the opportunity to continue to work hard and improve.
The big movie “Happy Superman’s Heart of Heroes” is an unprecedented challenge. The first three-dimensional attempt means that almost everything starts from scratch.
