In the past six months, regardless of the epidemic situation in other parts of the country, there have been only a few cases in Binhai New Area. Most of the time, the area where I live is completely free. But in recent days, there has been a sudden increase in cases in Binhai New Area, and we have entered a medium-risk area.
There are large sieves every day, usually from 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning. So, if there is no big accident, I cannot leave Binhai New Area during the whole National Day. It doesn’t even make sense to leave my community, although theoretically we can go out after the nucleic acid test every day. However, the restaurants, cafes, and various entertainment venues on the street are closed, and only some vegetable markets and supermarkets are still open. Apart from going out to buy food, there is little point in going out.
However, almost every National Day, I don’t go out. I don’t like crowded places, and every year on National Day, people are everywhere. I feel like home is the safest place.
During the National Day of 2015, Nanzi and I got to know each other for a period of time and were planning a couples trip. We chose the first week after the National Day and went out for a week. We went to Sanya, Dali, and Lijiang. That year, these places were crowded with people on National Day, but when we went, there were not many people everywhere. This is the best trip in my opinion.
Therefore, no matter whether there is a lockdown this year or not, and whether it is a medium-risk area, our country will not go out.
So what’s the best thing to do at home during the holidays?
From my experience, improving yourself is the best.
It is best to have a continuous time to improve yourself.
You can temporarily get rid of the shackles of work and do some side projects.
