Introducing Two Cantonese Fried Noodles

Speaking of the origin of Cantonese-style fried noodles and myself, it started in 2020 when I was on a business trip in Shenkeng and accidentally stepped into the Hong Kong Xin Cantonese-style tea restaurant at noon.

Although I have eaten many Hong Kong-style restaurants in the past, I have never tried the Cantonese-style fried noodles for some reason.

Although the name of Cantonese-style fried noodles is called fried noodles, it is not completely fried, let alone dry noodles. The juice is mixed to produce a partly moist, partly crunchy texture.

The ingredients of Cantonese-style fried noodles are also quite rich. Under the embellishment of prawns and flower branches, they bring a little seafood to the fried noodles. The overall taste is memorable.

Cantonese chow mein is not called Cantonese chow mein in Hong Kong, it is called assorted chow mein. The English transliteration of fried noodles is chow mein , not the free translation of stir-fried noodles, just like sushi in Chinese is sushi and English is sushi, it will never be called a strange name such as a Japanese-style rice ball, or it is like ラーメン Chinese It’s called ramen, and it’s called Ramen in English, and no one will call it by any name like Japanese assorted noodle soup.

The following introduces two Hong Kong-style restaurants that I have visited. Their Cantonese-style fried noodles have their own characteristics, but the same is the exotic delicacy.

Gangxin was originally located in Shenkeng. While writing the manuscript, I found that it had been relocated to Wenshan District next door. I visited it a few times during my business trip. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to take pictures at work.

Its Cantonese-style fried noodles are quite delicious. The noodles, sauces, and ingredients are all of a high standard. They also have a unique wok flavor. It is also because of Gangxin that I am deeply impressed by the Cantonese-style fried noodles. not to be missed.

Ruby Hong Kong-style Yucha is located in the Zhongping Road business district of Taoyuan District. It is a well-known local cheap Hong Kong-style restaurant. Of course, there are also Cantonese-style fried noodles.
