Mermade Seafoods is a seafood farmer that uses biological waste made from water, ammonia and carbon dioxide to feed algae, which are then used to grow feeder cells, which in turn provide nutrients for the scallops to grow. Mermade Seafoods has just completed a seed round of financing, with OurCrowd, Fall Line and Sake Bosch participating in this round of financing for $3.3 million.
