But Wallet was born to replace people’s heavy physical wallet step by step, so this article teaches you how to use Pass2U and MakePass to make it ideal.

Pass2U
Pass2U is a software service made by a company in Taiwan. Its main business is to provide membership management services for small and micro merchants, enterprises, issuing membership cards, and collecting point cards. Its services are available in countries and regions with complete Google services, and membership cards can be distributed without any need to download additional software on iOS and Android. In addition, Pass2U also provides a Wallet Credential Creation App for individual users in the App Store. The free version can use limited functions, and the professional version can be unlocked by spending HKD $15 at the Minato store. In this part, I will introduce the steps and precautions of in-app production and web-side production.
In-app production
Step 1: Scan and enter the barcode

Web production
Note: You need to register a Pass2U account for the production of the web page, and log in at the “ticket issuer” on the login page.

Note: The first five cards are the same as the App design process. The stamped collection point card is suitable for merchants to issue collection point cards, and the dynamic QR card is suitable for merchants to issue stored value cards.
Step 3: Start Designing

- App: If the ticket card you made has a corresponding App, you can fill in the App ID of the App (App ID is the last number of the App Store link of the corresponding App). The App startup URL can be understood as a URL Scheme, which can quickly open a certain part in the corresponding App.

If you are a small shop owner overseas and your business is booming, you might as well use Pass2U’s services to distribute membership cards, point cards, coupons, etc. If there is still the issuance of stored-value cards, you can choose their dynamic QR card or NFC card business.
MakePass
MakePass is a Wallet voucher making app made by Portuguese personal developer Pedro José Pereira Vieito . It can be downloaded and used on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, and the price is HKD $78. For users who don’t want to mess around, this price is too expensive, but its better UI and the most complete certificate can be produced. selling point. Next I’ll cover a tutorial on making credentials in MakePass.
Compared with Pass2U, PassMaker has the advantage of local production, and can use “shortcuts” to quickly produce.

When I wrote this article, I was thinking why many merchants didn’t use this feature. Shouldn’t its simple and native experience give customers a better experience? Its functions are even more powerful than most WeChat mini-programs. But why, like App Clips, disappeared from the view of fruit fans. Maybe there are too many users of WeChat and Alipay; maybe Apple’s publicity is not in place; or maybe our users haven’t realized the importance of software “beauty”. One day, WeChat may adapt applets to App Clips, bloated apps will cease to exist, and the user experience will be re-emphasized by major manufacturers. This change may have begun.
