Streaming giant Netflix launched a record 1,026 original episodes in the third quarter of 2022, compared with 223 for its main rival Amazon Prime Video, 194 for Hulu, 140 for Disney+, and 140 for HBO Max. 114 episodes. Hits of the season include DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman and the last two episodes of Stranger Things 4 set. Netflix’s strategy of covering everything, allowing every subscriber to find the different types of shows they love. Netflix says its customers watch six genres of movie and TV content every month, from dramas to horror and comedy to kids.
