New York State announces that it will stop the sale of pure fuel vehicles by 2035

The US state of New York is following California’s example, requiring that all new vehicles sold in the state by 2035 must be electric vehicles or plug-in hybrids… New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced that to achieve this goal, by 2026, 35% of new vehicles Zero emissions must be achieved, reaching 60% by 2030. New school buses must also be zero-emissions by 2035. A public hearing will be held before the new rules are implemented.
