Pentagon splits its cloud computing contracts among four companies

Google, Oracle, Microsoft and Amazon will share the Pentagon’s $9 billion cloud computing contract, and The Joint Warfighter Cloud Capability will help the US military quickly transmit intelligence from drones and communication satellites in modern warfare. The cloud computing contract was once known as Jedi (Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure). The Pentagon awarded it to Microsoft.
