September 26, 2022 – Milan, Pirelli’s sustainability score in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment has increased again, reaching 85 points this year, up 8 points from last year .
Pirelli achieved top scores in a number of management areas, including governance and due diligence in human rights , natural resource management and CO2 reduction . It also received top marks in the areas of innovation and cybersecurity , as well as integrity and transparency of the company’s social and environmental reporting.
Based on an analysis of more than 13,000 companies participating in the assessment, S&P Global will announce the final results of the 2022 Corporate Sustainability Assessment and the average score for each area on October 21, 2022, and on December 9, 2022 The latest selection mechanism for the Dow Jones Sustainability Index World Index and European Index was announced today.
