In fact, we don’t have the opportunity to meet people who are different from ourselves. Relatives and friends who have been with us since childhood basically have similar values. In daily life, you will only pay attention to people and things that are consistent with your own values. Colleagues in the office are more or less homogeneous in their majors and positions.

The greater the distance between you and other people, the more misunderstandings and prejudices there will be.

Only when we realize that we have been living in a small bubble with high homogeneity all our lives, and take the initiative to walk into and explore the real world, will we realize that there are many different people in this world, and people have There are many different ways of life. People have many ways to adapt to the environment and solve problems. Many people encounter difficult problems in their lives, but there are still many beautiful things in the world.

Public transportation can greatly facilitate this. Everyone else is “them” when you ride your motorcycle or drive your own car. But when you’re in the car with a group of people, at this moment, everyone is “us”. Same bus, same direction. Among the differences, there is at least one similarity.

Try to notice and feel the people around you. Try to be aware of and let go of your own prejudices about people.

This is a process of training oneself to be sensitive to life, to care about society, and to be curious about people. Social care comes first, and then design care. Only when you have the motivation to understand people can you have the opportunity to understand users. The sensitivity to feel life experience comes first, and the insight to master user experience comes first.

Excellent socialization and resocialization exercise for people of any age. Relaxation is of course good, but many people mistake casualness for relaxation. Making more use of public transportation can help you train yourself to be more precise about the difference between easy and casual.
