PurpleTutor is a programming teaching platform that focuses on 6 to 18 year olds and provides live online courses in computational thinking such as programming. PurpleTutor provides in-house teacher training programs, the company develops its own courses, and empowers teachers with AI technology to ensure that courses are highly customized and personalized. PurpleTutor recently announced that it has completed a series A financing of 100 million rupees (about 1.25 million US dollars). Participants in this round include Disruptors Capital, IvyCap Ventures, and HCL co-founder Arjun Malhotra.
