Recently I watched “Undefended Tonight”, a Hong Kong variety show in the 1990s, hosted by three “old men” Huang Zhan, Ni Kuang and Cai Lan, and invited popular stars to hold a late-night symposium.

When you look at the title of the show “Undefended”, you can see how hot the topic of the show is. The same is true of the real situation. Those movie stars who are “out of reach” on the screen lie down and sit on the show, holding red wine or even smoking a cigarette, just like neighbors chatting cross-legged together, relaxed, comfortable and real.

At that time, celebrities such as Wang Zuxian and Lin Qingxia, who were popular at that time, showed their rare and real side under the “encirclement and interception” of the three talents.

Recommended by @Nickilism , I am also reading Van Gogh’s biography “Longing for Life” recently. Van Gogh was also a man who pursued truth. He would rather paint the tattered women at work than the uniformly neatly dressed nobles, who are as lifeless as paper people. He’s warm, unrestrained, and outspoken , with everyone and everything.

He brings these qualities into life, into his paintings . Looking at his paintings, it is easy to be moved by its real enthusiasm.

Let go of the false and show the real side; go out and be real with people as individuals.
