Releaf is a vegetable oil producer that provides extension services to small farmers, acts as an off-taker for their products and processes raw materials into plant-level inputs for vegetable oil factories. Releaf recently announced the completion of a $3.3 million pre-Series A funding round led by Samurai Incubate Africa and followed by Consonance Investment Managers. Additionally, Bain Capital Chairman Stephen Pagliuca, and World Wildlife Fund board member and Inclusive Capital Partners founder Jeff Ubben also participated in the round.
