I spent a day today, after reading “Silent Confession”, combined with the recent hotspots exposed by the textbooks of the Pedagogical Edition, I got some special insights and shared a wave.
The overall plot of Silent Confession is very simple. To be honest, there are no very likeable characters in the whole book, but the most annoying are Chinese men, who can be described as the root of all evil. Through teacher-student love, the life path of female students is narrowed, and they are unfaithful to marriage after marriage. When I got older, I engaged in extramarital affairs and dealt with the parent-child relationship in a mess. I was resigned to the situation, and I was extremely unconfident. Except for my good grades in reading, I was useless.
The excellent qualities are given to the white people, and the bad habits are left to the yellow people. This book sold very well on Amazon in 2014. The white women who read this book will have a prejudice against the yellow-skinned men.
Through literary and artistic works, it is indeed a clever way of propaganda to subtly make readers have prejudice against specific groups;
There is a passage in the book, describing that the glasses of mixed-race children are not blue, which was deliberately discussed by the surrounding classmates.
