Supply and demand match

When I first started working, I remembered that the company did not provide working meals. I had to go downstairs to eat or order takeout during my lunch break, and I paid for it myself. I have never heard that person complain that the food in a fast food restaurant is not delicious. Later, after the company’s benefits were improved and free working meals were provided, various complaints about the meal began to appear in the company group every day. No matter how HR changed suppliers, the number of people complaining only increased. The free work meal has attracted so many complaints, so it is better not to provide it. Anyway, I feel that it is good to not have to pay for it myself, and I can eat whatever I want.

After starting my own business, the company provided lunch and dinner for free every day, and similar problems occurred. No matter how you changed suppliers, after a period of time, there would always be complaints because the merchants reduced their portion or became difficult to adjust. In order to control costs and make profits, businesses will reduce the amount of meals when they are preparing meals after the meal supply is stable. It is useless to increase the meal standard a few times, and HR has been tired of changing suppliers.

Later, when I reported to me, the solution I gave was that the supplier would remain the same, but that the way of serving meals was changed from the original meal delivery company that selected a set meal in the APP, packed the lunch box and sent it to the company for everyone to pick up. I ordered a buffet at the company’s front desk, and the food was still the same. I had to eat more and less, and then decide what to eat after reading the meal. Since then, I have complained a lot less, and I didn’t need to change suppliers for more than two years.

In the final analysis, the appearance is fluctuating appetite, difficult to talk about, and suppliers are deducting. The essence is the waste of resources caused by the mismatch between supply and demand.

Everyone’s mood and appetite are different every day, and the choice of food taste and weight requirements are different every day. Some people suddenly have a good appetite today, and some people have a bad appetite. No money was made, employees were dissatisfied, and HR continued to do a lot of inefficient work here.

When everyone can choose appetizing dishes and portions after seeing the meal, the contradiction between supply and demand will be balanced, resources will be fully utilized without wasting, satisfaction will be improved, and suppliers will also earn.

From national governance to small business operations, how to fully meet the growing individual needs of individuals, and how to improve the efficiency of resource matching when the cake cannot continue to grow, is a matter of knowledge.
