The Baihetan Hydropower Station is located on the lower reaches of the Jinsha River at the junction of Ningnan County in Sichuan Province and Qiaojia County in Yunnan Province. The power station has installed a total of 16 million-kilowatt hydro-generator units independently developed by my country and the world’s largest single-unit capacity, with a total installed capacity of 16 million kilowatts.
