Pinwan, April 25th, according to the official news of China Energy Construction, recently, the Anhui Wuhe Modern Energy RNG cogeneration project invested and constructed by China Energy Construction Central South Institute was put into operation. This project is the largest single biomass RNG cogeneration project in the country. production projects (RNG stands for Renewable Natural Gas).

According to officials, the total installed capacity of the project is 9 megawatts, with a comprehensive energy utilization rate of over 85% . It can generate more than 70 million kilowatt-hours of electricity each year and provide 40,000 tons of food-grade industrial steam. The project put into operation this time uses cow dung and straw as raw materials, which are processed into methane, which is then used to generate electricity through an internal combustion generator set.
