Veremark is a UK pre-employment screening service platform that helps businesses conduct checks (e.g. employment history, academic, criminal and credit history) on potential employees as well as potential business partners, LPs and founders through its pre-screening service. Veremark secured $8.5 million in equity financing. This round of financing was led by a new investor, US venture capital firm Stage 2 Capital. Pan-European venture capital firm Samaipata also joined the round as a new investor, with follow-on investments from several existing investors Triple Point Ventures, ACF Investors, Vulpes and SOV, bringing the company’s total funding to $12.3 million.
