I’m actually quite familiar with the system. My father is a civil servant, and I have been immersed in it since I was a child, and I have more or less seen life within the civil service system.
However, from my own experience and aspirations, I am reluctant to go inside the system.
When I was in college, I imagined that I could take an examination of the system, work within the system, and choose a position where I would drink tea and read the newspaper every day. Then, while drinking tea and reading newspapers, you can research technology by yourself and become a person who catches fish at get off work and writes code after work.
But when I stepped into the society, I thought again about this question: what do I want?
What I have gained in the system is a false “sense of security”, but is that security really what I need? With a salary of several thousand yuan, I have time, but I need to spend 8 hours a day in a job that I am not interested in, wasting my own life, and in exchange for it may be my income for one or two articles.
Does it really matter? I found my own answer.
