WP-CLI is the command line interface for WordPress. You can update plug-ins, configure multisite installations, and more without using a web browser. WP-CLI provides a command line interface for many things you might do in your WordPress admin. For example, wp plugin install –activate allows you to install and activate WordPress plugins.
