1,900 Signal users affected by Twilio attack

Twilio, which provides phone number verification services for encrypted messaging app Signal, was recently hit by a phishing attack that compromised around 1,900 Signal users by accessing its customer support console. Signal said that no personal data such as message histories, address books, etc. of any users were affected. For the 1,900 potentially affected users, it will de-register and require them to re-register. It will send affected users directly via SMS from August 15. Send a message.
