Chen Mo, founder and former executive chairman of TuSimple, announced that he was starting his own business again. This is Chen Mo’s fifth venture. He has done advertisements, used car e-commerce platforms, web games and self-driving trucks before. This time, he founded Hydron, a hydrogen-fueled heavy-duty truck manufacturing company. Regarding the future relationship with TuSimple, Chen Mo emphasized that Hydron is an independent private company and has no equity relationship with TuSimple. Mo Chen will continue to serve as Chairman of Tucson China and lead the Tucson China business team. At the same time, he will be responsible for the management and operation of the new company HYDRON.
