Untamed Isles, the online game project that raised NZ$840,994 (approximately RMB 3.6 million) on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, has announced that it has stopped development because it spent its crowdfunding money on cryptocurrencies, which are now lost due to the collapse of cryptocurrencies , now can only stop development. It’s out of money, so a refund is also not possible. Projects halting development rather than canceling development are believed to be designed to circumvent lawsuits. According to statistics on the Kickstarter page, 10 people have contributed 12,000 yuan, 18 people have funded 5,000 yuan, and 30 people have funded 3,900 yuan.
