Google’s parent company Alphabet released its second-quarter financial report: net profit fell 14% year-on-year

According to the report, Alphabet’s total revenue in the second quarter was US$69.685 billion, an increase of 13% compared with US$61.880 billion in the same period last year, and a year-on-year increase of 16% excluding the impact of exchange rate changes; according to US GAAP, Alphabet’s No. Second-quarter net profit was $16.002 billion, down 14% from $18.525 billion in the same period last year; diluted earnings per share were $1.21, compared with $1.36 in the same period last year.
