Pinwan, September 23, according to Jiemian News, Jingdong Group announced today that Li Enyou has been appointed as an independent director of the company’s board of directors and a member of the board of directors’ compensation committee. The appointment is effective immediately.
Li Enyou is currently the Managing Director of Yale Center Beijing. Yale Center Beijing is the first physical center in Yale University’s history to be established outside of a US campus; also a current independent non-executive director of the JD Logistics Co., Ltd. board of directors (since May 2021); served from April 2008 to 2012 In May 2009, he served as the senior deputy manager of China Investment Corporation, the national sovereign wealth fund of China, responsible for private equity investment business.
