Since I am often referred to as “Teacher Wang” or “Teacher Supporting the Wall”, as a teacher, I feel obliged to share my personal views on education. After the college entrance examination, every year the school will carry out “throwing books and tearing books”. If we understand the underlying logic of this matter, then this phenomenon is not difficult to understand.
I think there are four levels of education, a simple drawing is as follows:
If education (corresponding to Education in English) is regarded as a horizontal line, then there are two layers below education, and at least one layer above education.
Just like when it comes to management, we often say “management is to stimulate the goodwill of people/employees”. When it comes to education, I think education is to discover and inspire people’s potential.
Ideal and reality are often polarized.
Ideally, education can only be considered a basic level, and enlightenment (education) above education is the best (English corresponds to Edification).
The reality is that many so-called educations are often just wearing the skin of education, doing things of indoctrination, and even domesticating people like animals.
Therefore, as an entity in the whole picture, it is best for the educated to wake up and know what kind of education they want, otherwise, someone will pay and someone will do things, but it will be good for you in the end? Think for yourself.
