Mitsubishi Motors has invested 11.3 trillion rupiah in Indonesia as of 2021 and plans to expand its production in the country, Hartato said. Mitsubishi Motors CEO Takao Kato pointed out that the company plans to produce hybrid electric vehicles and battery electric vehicles in Indonesia. He said Mitsubishi aims to increase Indonesian exports to 72,000 units this year from 42,000 units in 2021 and 98,000 units in 2024.
