I haven’t updated any life-related articles for nearly a month. Mainly because there’s nothing new recently, and I’m not very eager to share.
A City Walk and Overnight Experience
In September, I went to Shanghai again. I went on a city walk in Shanghai with my friends and spent the night at an e-sports hotel with some big shots.
The picture above is in the evening near the South Pier Ferry. I forgot to take a photo at the E-Sports Hotel. The bunk beds felt like I was back in college. Shenqingchuan 2beelin was very energetic and worked until two or three o’clock in the night.
The next day, after having lunch together, we started walking west. In the afternoon, I met with zhangmo8 , and then discussed NeoVim-related topics in a cafe. zhangmo8 is getting married during the National Day holiday and gave us wedding candies. I don’t know when I will have sweet love.
Interest development – 
Maybe it was from the time I entered Yuncun that I came into contact with all kinds of pure music. I was introduced to piano music from high school, starting with Japanese DJ’s luv letter and flower dance, to South Korea’s July’s my soul, etc., and later to Chinese composer Qiu Youju. I like these piano pieces very much, and that’s how I got connected. But I don’t have any foundation.
Maybe, now I have time to make up for some regrets of not having access to musical instruments.
I bought Betsy’s electric piano and purchased a one-year subscription to Simply Piano. I learn it every day when I have nothing to do. I haven’t signed up for a class yet. I’ll check it out later.
Equipment replacement
Replaced iPhone 15. The iPhone 12 has been used for 3 years, and the 128G version was purchased as soon as possible (CNY 6799). The iPhone 15 with the same configuration in 2023 actually only costs (CNY 5999). What a shame, thanks to you Cook.
I bought my dad another OnePlus, which is still an Android phone. It comes with a film and a phone case, and it even comes with a charger and data cable. It’s not environmentally friendly.
A few days later, the iPhone SE 2 suddenly burped and the display stopped working.
Fillings
I originally wanted to have my teeth cleaned, it was my first time. Then I had a check-up before that. In short, the X-ray showed that two of my teeth were badly decayed. The doctor suggested that I have them repaired, which I did. Anyway, I would have to have them repaired sooner or later.
Only after I went there did I realize that dentistry is really profitable. The cheapest filling for a tooth is 600.
After cleaning my teeth, I started filling my teeth. Now I am still afraid of the electric drill used to grind my teeth. I also had my teeth touched because of cavities when I was a child.

Rewrite Mix Space
Recently, I am planning to rewrite MIx Space, which is different from the original technology stack. This time I no longer use MongoDB, but focus on Prisma + Postgres, so I have been exploring the overall architecture design recently. Therefore, I don’t want to use the original name anymore, and with this complete rewrite including the api core and admin console, I plan to give it a new name.
Originally, the API for the admin console and the public API were coupled in a controller, but this time I used trpc to aggregate all the interfaces that require authentication for the admin. It is more convenient in terms of type, and there is no need to declare it manually. At present, trpc + react-query work well together. Vue is no longer used, and all my projects so far are React.
Switching from Vue to React is also a rewrite. The biggest problem currently is the component library. Naive UI on Vue is very easy to use, but on React, there are a lot of headless UI, which becomes particularly difficult when writing projects such as dashboards that require rapid prototyping. Painful, and I don’t want to use Antd and Mui which leaves me with no other options. The Next UI library has nothing but good looks. It has a lot of bugs in its components and there are very few components. It is really unlucky to use this library. Several bugs have been reported in a few days. It is recommended not to use it. I will never use it again.
Because now there are other things besides the code, which lengthens the cycle of this matter. I don’t want to put all my energy into just one thing like before.
