Recently, Beijing Shurui Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as: Shurui) announced the completion of the C1 round of financing of hundreds of millions of RMB. This round of financing was led by Shanghai Biomedical Fund, followed by Yuanxing Capital, and the old shareholders of Shurui, such as Medtronic, Shunwei Capital, SDIC China Merchants, and Tianfeng Capital, continued to give full support.

The founder of Shurui and Professor Xu Kai of Shanghai Jiaotong University said that this round of financing will be mainly used for the continuous research and development and upgrade iteration of Shurui products; the expansion of the construction scale of production facilities; the continuous promotion of general surgery, thoracic surgery and overseas clinical trials ; Deepen the layout of patents in Chinese and foreign markets; the construction of training and animal testing centers, and the establishment of sales channels in domestic and foreign markets. Shurui has completed multiple rounds of financing and is favored by many leading capitals.

Over the years, Shurui has been deeply engaged in the field of endoscopic surgical robots, and has built a whole chain of key technologies and an all-round independent intellectual property system. Supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other national and local governments, Shurui has broken the monopoly of foreign technology for many years, and has developed a single-port endoscopic surgical robot that is comparable to the international top level in terms of performance and operation, which will be completed in 2021 and 2022. Several cases of Asia’s first robotic urology, gynecology, and general surgery classic operations under a single hole have been successfully carried out clinical applications in the three departments of urology, general surgery and gynecology.
